What do we wear to our session?
At CWP we provide a studio wardrobe which has pieces that have been carefully curated to fit with my shooting style and asthetic. We have pieces ranging in size from xs-xl for women, as well as newborn-4T for girls. We also have a handful of pieces for little boys. If you don’t find something you love in our wardrobe, or are unsure what what else to pair with it, check out our “What To Wear” board on Pinterest for some great ideas!
Do you have a studio?
We have a studio right off I77 in Cornelius. The studio is a natural-light studio and provides a neutral, clean backdrop to have your images taken.
What does natural-light mean?
Natural-light means that I do not use artificial lighting or studio lights in my work. The studio is set up to allow enough natural light to come through, so that your images will turn out beautifully without looking like there has been studio lighting used. I do have a daylight lamp I use when absolutely necessary.
How far are you booking out?
Because both my family and the quality of service and product is of the utmost importance, I currently accept only 4-6 sessions per month. Taking on this small amount of clients each month, allows me to provide each with my undivided attention, but that also does make my calendar fill pretty quickly.
What if my child is sick on the day of the shoot?
RESCHEDULE! If your child is feeling ill, please call to reschedule. I understand that this happens. I have a child myself, so know that I have had to cancel appointments that I obligated myself to as someone elses client, for the same reason. Plus, a sick child is probably not what you have envisioned for the canvas above the fireplace. Please do so at least 48 hours before your session, if possible.
I’m so excited to see my images, what is your delivery time?
Within 2-3 weeks after your session, I will be finished editing and preparing your images and we will schedule your Session Reveal. In the meantime, I will make sure to post a sneak peek of my favorite image (or 2) to satisfy the excitement just a little!
My family doesn’t live in town. Will they be able to order their own prints?
Yes, that opportunity is available in your online gallery! There will be a cart available in each gallery and prints can be added that way. They will then be delivered directly to you by mail or yours truly!
